English: The structure that is now the Snake River Bridge (a.k.a. Lyons Ferry Bridge) began its life as the Vantage Ferry Bridge over the Columbia River. Because of changes to the river level due to dam construction it was replaced there by another bridge. Another change due to a dam resulted in its being re-erected at its current location to replace the Lyons Ferry.
