Description
English: Thousands of pilgrims came to join the Bishwa Ijtema, the second largest congregation of Muslims that takes place every year near Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was being estimated that, more than 5 million pious Muslims from different part of the world attended this year’s Bishwa Ijtema. To have shelter for 3 days and night people used to hang multi colored tents which look almost like Tetris in this aerial view!
Afrikaans: Duisende pelgrims het gekom om by die Bishwa Ijtema aan te sluit, die tweede grootste vergadering van Moslems wat jaarliks naby Dhaka, Bangladesj, plaasvind. Daar word beraam dat meer as 5 miljoen vrome Moslems van verskillende dele van die wêreld vanjaar se Bishwa Ijtema bygewoon het. Om skuiling vir 3 dae en nagte te hê, het mense veelkleurige tente opgehang wat uit die lug byna soos Tetris lyk!
