This is most definitely not a photo of Russian thistle, Salsola tragus/Salsola iberica Sennen, which at maturity is a large ball of painfully spiney stems forming a tumbleweed. 2600:100E:B028:240E:4CCF:9305:5893:74A6 19:51, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- Any idea what it might be? Chris Light (talk) 02:25, 23 April 2022 (UTC) Deletions because of a miss named image file is not an appropriate approach. I always appreciate assistance in identification of botanical images. Please note that a category of 'Argemone' and not 'Kali tragus' is used, thus it only appears in a search by file name as Russian Thistle, not a reason to delete as there a numerous file names that are garbage, in spite of an attempt by commons when loading to avoid camera names, it still leaves lots of problems.
Kept: no valid reason for deletion. Use {{Fact disputed}} instead. --P 1 9 9 ✉ 01:19, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
