Description
English: Tübingen, Germany: Probably the best known ensemble of historic buildings in Tübingen is the so-called Neckarfront, which consists almost entirely of listed buildings. It is mostly photographed from the Neckar bridge, therefore with this photo I have tried to show a less known view from the island in the river Neckar in the blue hour. On the left you see the Hölderlinturm, at the right of it the row of historic town houses, on the top left, the tower of St. George’s Collegiate Church
Deutsch: Tübingen: Mit das bekannteste historische Gebäude-Ensemble der Altstadt dürfte die so genannte Neckarfront sein, die fast vollständig aus denkmalgeschützten Gebäuden besteht. Hier eine Ansicht aus Süd-Südwesten von der Neckarinsel über den Neckar in der blauen Stunde. Links der Hölderlinturm hinter seiner prächtigen Trauerweide, rechts davon die Reihe der historischen Bürgerhäuser, links oben der Glockenturm der Stiftskirche.
Українська: Набережна Неккар в блакитну годину над річкою Неккар у Тюбінгені, Німеччина. Ліворуч — Гельдерлінтурм, за нею — ряд історичних міських будинків, на вершині — вежа колегіальної церкви Святого Георгія.


Hint: The diffraction spikes (a.k.a. sunstars or starburst effect) in this image have not been added in post-production or by using an effect filter etc. They are caused by the design of the aperture of the lens used, which produces distinctive sunstars even when the aperture is only slightly closed.
